Brownsville, TX, April 13, 2015, Dr. Manjula Raguthu, Physician and Director of Medwin Family Medicine & Rehabilitation, has been recognized by Elite American Physicians for dedication, achievement and leadership in family medicine.

Driven by her desire to care for people, Dr. Raguthu pursued a career in the health care field 24 years ago. She currently runs a private primary and urgent care practice that offers inpatient and outpatient management of medical conditions, including acute injuries, workers’ compensation injuries, disability exams and required medical exams, pre- and post- offer evaluations, and Department of Transportation physicals and travel vaccinations. She also offers drug-testing services and functional capacity evaluations.

Dr. Raguthu’s extensive experience and skill set enable her to treat patients suffering from a variety of ailments. An expert communicator, she excels at developing and implementing wellness programs designed to meet a wide spectrum of health issues using state-of-the-art tools. Dr. Raguthu spends her days motivating patients, conducting health interventions on an individual basis, supervising the medical staff, overseeing the primary care clinic, and assigning clinical duties. For her exceptional work, Dr. Raguthu earned multiple awards, including Best Family Physicians in America through Consumer’s Research Council of America, Exemplary Leadership Award, and held the 32nd rank in Family Practice Boards in America.

She earned a postgraduate diploma in obstetrics and gynecology, and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Guntur Medical College.  Additionally, Dr. Raguthu is board certified in family practice, and holds an advanced trauma life support certification. She is also a Certified Medical Coder, Certified Medical Office Management, and Certified Compliance Officer. To keep abreast of changes in her field, Dr. Raguthu is affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and American Anti-Aging Academy.
