Dr. Weaver entered the medical field because he spent five years in the Navy on a scholarship for medical school, interning at the Naval Medical Center in Virginia. He worked in a substance abuse and rehabilitation center with the SeaBees, the naval construction corps, before landing in Hixson. He finished his service in August 2009, and briefly worked at an area practice before deciding to open Compassionate Health Care. His practice provides clients with family and general medicine services.

Throughout his career, Dr. Weaver has learned about holistic approaches and believes strongly in treating the body as a whole and providing treatments for patients that enable the body to heal itself through health maintenance and self-regulation. He looks to address the root causes of disease rather than just treating the specific symptoms once they appear.

Dr. Weaver specializes in emphasizing primary care and comprehensive patient care, and has received ample recognition from his patients and medical professionals for his approach. In 2011, Dr. Weaver earned the Compassionate Doctor award from Vitals Patients Choice. He believes his extensive experience and dedication to the profession enable him to provide patients with the highest quality care and the most successful treatment plans. Dr. Weaver plans to continue treating patients and improving as a doctor for years to come.
