Dr. Katzen became involved in his profession because he studied chemistry in graduate school and realized it was not for him. He did not like the way a lot of medical professionals practiced and decided he really wanted to be a healer. He learned that a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine had a better approach, so he decided to become an osteopath. Dr. Katzen has been practicing for more than 24 years and is recognized for his ability to heal various medical issues.

“I am exceptional with OMT (Osteopathic Manipulation) and many musculoskeletal issues,” Dr. Katzen stated. “I have developed many techniques that have reduced my cortisone injections by 75 percent with such problems as tennis elbow, neuromas, and shoulder impingement syndromes. I have been able to diagnose the cause and treat many types of headaches and chronic dizziness with the help of OMT.”

Dr. Katzen is revered by his colleagues and patients for his dedication to a certain standard of health care. He also had the honor of receiving the award for outstanding physician leadership in an organization of more than 600 physicians, which was very humbling for him.
