Dr. Vandy Black’s expertise in pediatric hematology and oncology is preceded by eight years of professional experience and a lifelong interest in taking care of children. After earning an MD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. Black completed a fellowship to hone his skills in hematology and oncology. Nearly a decade later, Dr. Black now serves in two roles at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a medical doctor and instructor. In addition to caring for his patients, Dr. Black conducts pertinent research and teaches emerging physicians, who also intend to specialize in pediatric medicine.
