PORT WASHINGTON, NY, August 21, 2013, Dr. Sania Wilkins, pediatrician at Port Pediatrics, has been recognized by Elite American Physicians for dedication, achievements, and leadership in pediatric health care.

A practicing physician for 15 years, Dr. Wilkins works with infants and adults up to 22 years old, administering medical care and prescribing and dispensing medication. She also educates parents on various topics of infant care and mentors medical students. Aside from her work at Port Pediatrics, Dr. Wilkins is also an adjunct professor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. She recently received a grant for the Reach Out and Read program, which she plans to implement in her practice.

Dr.  Wilkins earned a Doctor of Osteopathy at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in biology at Binghamton University. To keep abreast of advancements in the field, she is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and American Academy of Pediatrics.
