Dr. Onuoha became interested in medicine while attending Western Kentucky University as an undergraduate. She earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine while working as a registered nurse in the area. During her residency at the New Jersey Medical School, University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, she knew she made the right choice with internal medicine because of the field’s versatility. She sustains her expertise in the field through her affiliations with the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association.
