Dr. Monestime has privileges at the North Shore Medical Center in Miami. She is kind and provides the best service possible to her patients and always works to find a solution to a problem. She has two sisters and one brother. Her sister is a preschool teacher living in Connecticut. Her brother is an attorney living in Miami and another sister is an attorney living in North Miami Beach. Her father is a retired businessman who currently hosts a radio show in Miami, and her mother worked in several hospitals in Miami as a registered nurse for 40 years.

Dr. Monestime loves her work with Dr. Rufus Joseph who heads the Liberty Medical Group because of his mentoring skills. She also enjoys the interaction with the medical students from Ross University Medical School that shadow her for two week periods. Dr. Monestime remains abreast of trends and developments in medicine as a member of the Florida Medical Association. In her spare time, she enjoys visiting her family, watching movies and reading.
