LOS ANGELES, CA, July 18, 2013, George L. Marks Jr., MD, Physician and Cardiologist with the Martin Luther King, Jr. Multi-Service Ambulatory Care Center, has been recognized by Elite American Physicians for dedication, achievements, and leadership in cardiology.
With a pronounced background in cardiac electrophysiology, Dr. Marks shines as a luminary in his field, bringing forth more than 36 years of professional experience to his role. He is currently responsible for managing the critical care unit and outpatient clinic and consulting on inpatient services at the multi-service ambulatory care center, and he makes the most of his years of experience by ensuring that operations are always running smoothly at the ambulatory care service provider and that patients are being well taken care of.
Dr. Marks was inspired to pursue his current career path by an innate passion for medicine and a desire to make valuable contributions to the community by educating and caring for patients. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., and an MD from the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to complete a Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and a fellowship in cardiology at Martin Luther King, Jr. Hospital.
