Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Dr. Yanishevski moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 1991. She earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Kiev Medical College in Ukraine and completed her internship in the Ukraine before becoming a U.S. Citizen in 1997 and successfully passing the U.S. Medical Licensure Exams. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee and joined the Laurelwood Pediatrics in August of 1998.

Dr. Yanishevski is affiliated with the American Academy of Pediatrics and an active member of the chapters on adoption medicine, telephone medicine and breastfeeding. Her special areas of interest also include ADHD and other aspects of developmental and behavioral pediatrics. She is also affiliated with Tourette Syndrome Association and Children and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation. Dedicated to her community and helping others, Dr. Yanishevski volunteers with the Children’s Fund and the local Breast Cancer Research Institute.
